Privacy
The short version: we collect what we need to get your order to you and to run Glow Points, we do not sell it, and there is no advertising or analytics tracking on this site.
What we collect, and why
When you place an order
Your name, WhatsApp number, and — for home delivery — your city and street address. An email address only if you choose to give one.
To pack your order, get it to you, and reach you about it.
When you pay by EcoCash
The EcoCash number you sent from and your transaction reference.
To match your payment to your order. We never see or store your PIN.
Your order itself
The products, quantities and prices, any note you leave us, and the collection point or delivery zone you chose.
To fill the order and to answer questions about it later.
Glow Points
Your points balance, keyed to your WhatsApp number. No card, no separate account.
So your points follow you between orders.
If you take the hair quiz
Your answers and the resulting hair profile. Your WhatsApp number only if you ask us to save your routine.
To build your routine and to send it to you if you asked.
If you leave a review
Your name, city, rating and review text — all shown publicly on the product page — plus your WhatsApp number, which is not shown.
To publish the review, and to check it came from a real order.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your details to anyone.
- We do not run advertising pixels, analytics or cross-site tracking on this site.
- We do not store card details — we are not a card merchant.
- We do not message you marketing you did not ask for.
Who else handles your data
We use a small number of service providers to run the shop. They process your data on our instructions only:
- Supabase — hosts the database holding your orders, and our product photos.
- Cloudflare — serves this website, so it handles the connection your browser makes to us.
- Google Fonts — the typefaces on this site are loaded from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
Your basket stays in your browser
Your basket is kept in your own browser's storage, not on our servers, until you check out. Clearing your browser data clears it. We do not use cookies to follow you around the web.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them to handle exchanges, refunds and our own accounting. Quiz results are kept so a shared results link keeps working. Reviews stay up until you ask us to take yours down.
Getting a copy, or having it deleted
Message us on WhatsApp on +263 780 641 159 and ask. We will send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it — though we may need to keep basic order records where we are required to.
